The second episode was very interesting, it had quite a lot of action in it and we were introduced to variety of new characters.
In this episode we saw the Mongol actually attack Tsushima island. The king of the island and the his army at first is able to defend against them also were able to push them back. But all of this was to lure the king and the army into a trap where all most all of the army was annihilated including the king.
Now it is in the hands of Kuchii Jinzaburō and the other exiles to defend the island from Mongol for seven days till reinforcement arrives.
The way the king charged into the battle with optimism was exciting but the outcome was pretty obvious. The army had just 300 men(not spartans though) and the enemy had over a 1000.
Honestly it was a tragic end to once a great king and his army.
This episode really hyped my up for the third one.
