One punch man Season 2 Episode 3 review/first impression(spoilers)

This was a really good episode. We actually saw some real action this time.

The whole episode was filled with action and the arc is building up nicely.

In this episode we see how strong Garou really is as he fights S-rank Tanktop Master. The fight was really intense as two really strong people were fighting. In the end Garou was the one remaining standing as his martial arts moves were a bit too much for the Tanktop Master. Also Mumen rider was beat up really badly by Garou.

This episode was a bit dark in compare to the first two episodes.

Saitama and Garou did meet momentarily, but Saitama didn’t knew who he was nor did Garou knew about Saitama. Garou attacks him thinking that he is just a random hero, but gets knocked out by Saitama.Thats where the episode just ends.

Overall an amazing episode, i think the later episodes will be even better.

5 Winter Anime to look forward to…

2018 for me was not really that good in terms of anime. I didn’t really enjoy the anime i thought i would like and i for one didn’t try to watch a lot of different anime either. Now for this year i want to watch some anime and winter anime are just around the corner, so i thought i would check some out and i have found some. 1.Yakusoku no Neverland At Grace Field House, life couldn’t be better for the orphans! Though they have no parents, together with the other kids and a kind “Mama” who cares for them, they form one big, happy family. No child is ever overlooked, especially since they are all adopted by the age of 12. Their daily lives involve rigorous tests, but afterwards, they are allowed to play outside. There is only one rule they must obey: do not leave the orphanage. But one day, two top-scoring orphans, Emma and Norman, venture past the gate and unearth the horrifying reality behind their entire existence: they are all livestock, and their orphanage is a farm to cultivate food for a mysterious race of demons. With only a few months left to pull off an escape plan, the children must somehow change their predetermined fate.(From MAL) For one i find the synopsis very interesting and i did a bit of a searching and it does look good. It will start airing on 11 Jan.
2.Boogiepop wa Warawanai There is an urban legend that tells of a shinigami that can release people from the pain they are suffering. This “Angel of Death” has a name—Boogiepop. And the legends are true. Boogiepop is real. When a rash of disappearances involving female students breaks out at Shinyo Academy, the police and faculty assume they just have a bunch of runaways on their hands. Yet some students know better. Something mysterious and foul is afoot. Is it Boogiepop or something even more sinister…? This one has a bit mysterious air to it so i think it would be cool so looking forward to it. It will start airing on 4th Jan.
3.Dororo
A samurai lord has bartered away his newborn son’s organs to forty-eightdemons in exchange for dominance on the battlefield. Yet, the abandonedinfant survives thanks to a medicine man who equips him with primitiveprosthetics—lethal ones with which the wronged son will use to hunt do-wn the multitude of demons to reclaim his body one piece at a time, before confronting his father. On his journeys the young hero encounters an orphan who claims to be the greatest thief in Japan. That synopsis is pretty horrifying and really interesting also airing from Jan 7.
4.Revisions “This is a prophecy for you, where five people will meet huge adversaries, and only you can protect everyone.” Daisuke Toujima is a second-year high school student who was abducted when he was young. He was involved in a special phenomenon—Shibuya Drift—with his childhood friends Gai, Ru, Marimari, and Keisaku. They were transferred to the center of Shibuya over 300 years into the future. What’s waiting for them is endless wilderness and forest, Interspersed ruin, future citizens, and “Revisions” which are huge mechanical monsters. Trampled by the monsters without understanding the situation, a girl who has the same name as the person who saved Daisuke when he was abducted, Miro, provided a mobile suit “String Puppet” and told them to save Shibuya. With separated paths, adversaries, destined prophecies, the boys, and girls are on their journey to return to their original time. Again looks interesting, airing on 10 Jan.
5. Dimension High School The high school boys transferred to an anime world while they are in cramming school. Since then, they start school life in the anime world they transferred in. This idea just seems interesting so i thought it would be worth checking out, it airs on 10 Jan.
These 5 are the ones i would be watching and hope that i would complete them!

Tokyo Ghoul RE: Anime Review(Some Spoilers Ahead)

Well Tokyo Ghoul Re is the sequel to Tokyo Ghoul√A  .

You can start seeing some similarities there in terms of Art style and Stuff. Now Tokyo Ghoul Re is still carry’s a dark theme but it also has some comedy in it, something like in  Black Butler, where the whole theme is dark but you also have those chibi faces and quirky comedy, that was kinda different from what i was expecting but i’ll just say that it doesn’t really bother me but it might bother some fans( I don’t know if it is the same in manga but its there in the anime).

Story: So the direction of the story is kinda different with Kaneki now know as Haise is fighting with the CCG to fight against Ghouls. So when i actually started watching it i was left a bit confused, i had a lot of questions in my mind which most of them were answered after watching the 12 episodes but some of them still linger. The Pacing seems a bit fast probably because they only had 12 episodes to work with. I wonder why do they get just 12 episodes, Tokyo Ghoul is a pretty popular anime.

Characters: So most of the older characters are still present here but we have some addition like Saiko, Urie, Shirazu,Tooru etc. Well basically these new characters are from Haise’s own team and i personally like Shirazu. Each of those guys have unique personalities and unique motivations to fight against Ghouls.

Soundtracks: Well nothing can top “Unravel”, so the soundtrack are well lets say Nice, nothing more nothing less.

Animation: There are noticeable  downgrades from previous Seasons, Particularly during Fight scenes. The style which was present during the fights in the first and even some of the second season is now missing, those fight scenes don’t make a huge impact like previous ones.

Overall i liked binge watching the anime but only because the story was moving ahead and i was too lazy to read the Manga. Trust me i’ll read the manga eventually but till then i am  continuing with the anime. I just feel that the whole story is moving really fast with less explanation overall.  Also i know i am very late with this review but as of now the second season is airing so i thought it would be a good time to watch this season and then continue with the second one.

Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san- First Impression

This anime takes place in a book Store where the main protagonist a “Skeleton” works as a bookstore guy. The anime focuses on the hilarious and unique kind of characters that visit the Book Store(more like a comic Store).

There are people coming from all walks of life and Honda(skeleton) has to deal with them, sometimes they might be foreigners and sometimes very eccentric manga fans. The way he deals with them is pretty hilarious.

The anime is around 11 minutes long with two short stories in each episode. So overall a really good anime, very light hearted and just funny overall, and i also like how they refer to other anime’s.The other people working in the store are also a bit unique in their own way. All in all i had pretty fun time watching this.

It was a like a breath of fresh air, since i have not been watching anime for a while, this one was perfect to start from.

Initial D First Stage(Review) (No spoilers!)

This is one of the anime which every car-person knows about, because this is a really good anime.

This one has got small details about cars right, it also has an really good MC who is a really good driver. This anime was also which introduced many kids to the car culture. This anime did a really good job of portraying the drifting and racing scene in Japan at that time. It also includes real-life  locations which are used for races in the anime.            I also liked how the characters would give explanations for some techniques which they used or something about the car setup etc. This explanation really seems helpful.

Soundtrack:

I can’t confirm if Initial D was the reason why Eurobeat music got popular or not but i can say that it was the reason why i started listening to Eurobeat more. The soundtrack used are really fitting to the scenes when they are played. Some popular songs are “Deja vu” And ” Running in the 90’s”. Those soundtrack paired with racing and drifting really set the mood for the anime.

Synopsis

Takumi Fujiwara is an aloof, spacey high-schooler who does delivery runs in his dad’s Toyota AE86 in the dead of night. Despite working at a gas station and having friends who are car nuts, he doesn’t know a single thing about cars.

Takumi is introduced into the world of street racing and his natural talent draws attention from all across Gunma. Will Takumi face the challenges or back out from the call of the mountain passes? (Taken from Myanime list).

All in all this is a really good anime and everyone should give it a shot.

Tsukumogami kashimasu Episode 1 Review

This an anime takes place in the old era. It is about a shop which rent’s out some objects which can be ornaments or charms etc.

When an owner of a certain object cherishes the object very much then the objects soul takes a materialized form which is known as Tsukumogami.

Tsukumogami can be seen but they don’t respond to humans, only to other Tsukumogami.

This anime actually is about solving mystery using the Tsukumogami. Which i find interesting. It is supposedly an episodic anime, solving one mystery at a time. I guess the shop is also a part-time detective agency of sorts.

The animation style looks pretty good. I also like how the narrator explains certain objects from the past by comparing it to its present counterpart.

I also think that they will show the back story of each of the Tsukumogami in the shop, which would be interesting to see.

I liked the anime, it is something new and a bit different than the usual.

Aguu: Tensai Ningyou Episode 2 impression (spoilers)

In this Episode we see Ai talking to Machi about her Aguu. Then Machi in turn tries to bribe Ai by giving her one of the Aguu that she has.

For doing this Machi takes Ai to the Aguu Market. There we meet the owner/tailor “Sherlock” who apparently sews Aguu to people for a deposit.

At first Ai agrees to get an Aguu sewed to her but later on realizes that it is the wrong thing to do. So she uses the Talisman given by the grampa on Machi but is later cornered by Sherlock the tailor. Then gramps and the annoying brat come in to save Ai. It is also revealed that Gramps and the brat have special powers which they use to save Ai and beat Sherlock.

It is also revealed that there is a huge demand for Aguu and there are a lot of markets all around the world. Which suggests that there is a huge world surrounding Aguu which is unknown to most common people.Aguu seems to have a very interesting environment which i hope is explored more in the later episodes.

Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes Episode 2 Impression (no spoilers)

The second episode actually showed us some of the ability of Kiyotaka as he solves a case with ease.

This case as such was not a hard one. But the good thing is that from now onwards we will get to see much more of crime solving.

Well i really hope there are much serious type of cases in the future. The case we saw this episode has been used a quite a lot. I already knew who the real culprit was even before they revealed it. I feel that the cases should be more complicated and challenging. Nonetheless a decent episode

Aguu Tensai Ningyou Epsiode 1 Impression

I have been low-key excited for this anime after having read the synopsis.

So Aguu is kinda like a guardian spirit which genius people are born with. The Not so successful people apparently realized the existence of this guardian spirit and used some wicked methods to make actual genius people into an guardian Spirit, so making them into an Aguu(cursed doll). They can give this Aguu to anyone who desires it.The organization that does it is still a secret.

The main protagonist is Ai who has a odd habit of doing splits randomly. She is a ballet dancer. Then there is her friend Machi who is also a Ballet dancer. Other characters include an old man and an arrogant brat with bushy eyebrows.

The animation style looks good. I am not really digging the opening soundtrack but the ending soundtrack is pretty good.

This anime has a pretty serious tone, that’s what i can say after watching the first episode.

The first episode was interesting and i am looking forward to the next episode.

Banana Fish Episode 2 impression(spoilers)

I am really impressed with the progression of the plot, it is quite well paced. The first episode did a good job of introducing the character and the outline of the plot.

The second episode was filled with action. We saw Eiji do a pole vault, straight up gunfights and Chase scene’s etc.

Skippers death was quite sudden and i wasn’t really expecting it and the other thing that came out of nowhere was Ash going to Jail. This show’s how much influence the Mafia has on people.

I honestly enjoyed the second episode. Can’t wait for the third now.
