Banana Fish looks good

So i just came across Banana Fish and thought to myself, “Looks like an interesting title, i wonder is it about a restaurant or something”. But it is not about an restaurant or anything remotely about cooking or catching fish and its nothing about bananas either.

Well i it is about an American Gang and more particularly about one guy named Ash, who is adopted by a crime lord to be nurtured to become a cold-blooded killer.

Synopsis:Nature made Ash Lynx beautiful; nurture made him a cold ruthless killer. A runaway brought up as the adopted heir and sex toy of “Papa” Dino Golzine, Ash, now at the rebellious age of seventeen, forsakes the kingdom held out by the devil who raised him. But the hideous secret that drove Ash’s older brother mad in Vietnam has suddenly fallen into Papa’s insatiably ambitious hands—and it’s exactly the wrong time for Eiji Okamura, a pure-hearted young photographer from Japan, to make Ash Lynx’s acquaintance…

From the synopsis this anime feels like its gonna be dark and more action focused, yeah it is kind of dark but the animation style is not really making the atmosphere for me. By no means it is bad, it is quite good and fitting for this anime………..but i was expecting something like ’91 days’ style of animation.

I had heard about Banana Fish prior to the anime. There is a completed Manga which people can go and read it. This manga had released way back in 1985 and ran through till 96′. So the animation actually kind of stay’s true to the manga’s art-style.

I am really interested in the story but not gonna read the manga though, i am gonna watch the anime.(weekly updates and overviews)

I find all of the character in the anime very interesting and i am really happy that a different kind of anime has come up. It is quite refreshing in my opinion and i can finally get back to watching some anime. From what i have heard it has a amazing story, so that’s good to know.

Banana-FishThis animation style reminds me of early 2000’s and 05′ anime like Red Garden and some other.

King’s Avatar Special Ep 2 Discussion(Spoiler alert)

So in this episode we see the all star weekend progressing and more rookie challenging senior players.

The fight between the captain of Team tyranny and current user of one autumn leaf was really good.

We then see that Tang Rou questions who really Ye Xiu is. I actually would really like to see everyones mind getting blown when they realize Ye xiu is actually Ye Qiu.

Overall pretty nice episode.

King’s Avatar Special Episode 1 review

Well the first thing I noticed while watching it was the changes in the animation. Mainly the facial animation and the actual face of our Main protagonist seems a bit different. The changes in animation are well not bad but they are not a step up from the last season.

The in-game action looks good. Overall the show looks good and a fan like me would love to watch the show progressing.

Well the changes in animation are probably because of the change in the studio.

I actually don’t remember our Main protagonist looking like that. Do you?

Well that’s my initial impression of King’s avatar Season 2.

FLCL: Progressive Ep:1

So i just now watched the very first episode and here are some initial thoughts.

Well I don’t remember the first season very clearly (i know the story but not the character names and stuff).

So, my initial thoughts were, the animation feels modern and as i started watching i first felt the craziness of the first episode of FLCL was kinda missing, but later on in the episode it caught up with the same sort of craziness. So you can expect the similar kind of humor from this season too.

Story wise flcl:progressive is a sequel to the events of first FLCL. I honestly at first found the story of FLCL a bit confusing to understand and there are some things that need to be explained more i hope this season explains that stuff.

The characters look really interesting, our main character is a high school girl who is bored of her uneventful life and now her life is gonna be full of events…..i hope……

Well these were my initial thoughts on FLCL: Progressive.

UN-GO(my thoughts)

So a while back i wrote about the review of the first two episode, but now as i have watched all the 11 episodes i am writing a bit more detailed review.

First few episodes literally bored me, the mystery were to simple to solve and the cases were just to boring, but as the story progresses all the episodes and the certain mystery they had, they all start making sense(not 100% though).

It is tagged as a supernatural anime but the supernatural aspect of the anime is kept to a bare minimum. I think the anime is more psychological at the end. So it is actually worth watching till the end.

The op and Ed are good but not anything special, Voice acting is decent too.

Art-style is modern and normal nothing to weird or different.

Overall i’ll say it is worth the watch….

My Favorite Manga!

We all have a manga that is dear to us, it does not matter if it is a popular manga or not, it does not even matter if other people think that it is a bad manga but we just love it.

Mine is: “Nana to Kaoru”

ea4a8586470312f068d5e925cdf2284e496a64af_hq

Synopsis(Normally i would copy it but i am gonna explain this myself):

Kaoru is a boy who has an S&M Fetish, he has always wanted to have an S&M relation with his neighbor “Nana”. Kaoru is a normal boy while Nana is a Popular Student, they were good friends as kids but now they have drifted apart. Kaoru is not that good at studying, so one day his mother takes away his S&M toys and gives it to Nana for safekeeping .(I don’t think the mother knows what the toys were). In the bag was a leather vest which Nana tries on and gets locked in(these s&m clothes apparently have locks), now Kaoru is the one who has the key. So one thing leads to another and then Nana realises that the S&M works as a method of relaxation for her(she is stressed out because of various reasons). The two of them then start getting involved in more S&M stuff.

Review:

First of all these is an ecchi manga. Secondly this is one good manga.                                        This Manga shows us that there is a different side of S&M. The manga is filled with emotions, it is comedic at some times and then it gets gloomy a bit.(not an emotional roller coaster though).

The art style is really good, it captures all the facial expressions perfectly.                              It also gives a lot of information about S&M, different types of knots and what other things are used and what kinds of accident would happen if not used correctly.

The author did lots of research.

Mangaka: Ryuta Amazume

The manga has around 150 chapters, it is worth reading.                                                              It is Ecchi but again it is an S&M manga so it would be weird if it was not.

P.s

It is better then 50 Shades of Grey

Nanatsu no Taizai(The Seven Deadly Sin) review

The second season of Seven Deadly Sin is airing and people are saying that it is crazy good. So i decided to go and watch the first season and honestly it was good.
Synopsis
In a world similar to the European Middle Ages, the feared yet revered Holy Knights of Britannia use immensely powerful magic to protect the region of Britannia and its kingdoms. However, a small subset of the Knights supposedly betrayed their homeland and turned their blades against their comrades in an attempt to overthrow the ruler of Liones. They were defeated by the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that these legendary knights, called the “Seven Deadly Sins,” were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights themselves staged a coup d’état, and thus became the new, tyrannical rulers of the Kingdom of Liones.

Based on the best-selling manga series of the same name, Nanatsu no Taizai follows the adventures of Elizabeth, the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones, and her search for the Seven Deadly Sins. With their help, she endeavors to not only take back her kingdom from the Holy Knights, but to also seek justice in an unjust world.(from myanime list).

Review:
So the things that i liked about the anime is the characters and the bomd they have, then the way the characters strengths were showcased etc.
At first you might think that these Seven sins are to much overpowered but later you start getting frustrated about how weak they are(not exactly weak but not the same overpowered either). I also like how the anime showed how each sin got his or her powers(backstory).

Now there is some stuff that i didn’t like much, like the plot is kinda understood but some of the events are not explained very well, then there are places where the plot moves ridiculously fast(the near ending episodes) the plot was progressing at good pace but then at one point it just takes off, which kinda seems rushed.
But overall it is a good anime.
Now i am going to start with Season 2.

This is the kind of manga that will make you actually laugh out loud. There is no exact plot to this manga, it is about the daily crazy life of Iori (mc) and his friends.

The art style is epic, it will make you roll on the floor laughing.

This manga is a must read…… and it is my favorite manga. It is number one on my top 10 list.
