Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes Episode 1 review/ Impression

The story takes place in an antique shop which appraises antique items. The person who appraises the items is called ‘Holmes’. It is just a nickname but the guy is really smart and intelligent kinda like Sherlock.

I immediately started comparing the characters in the anime to actual Sherlock Holmes. The guy called Holmes is basically Sherlock and Aoi (main protagonist/narrator) is Dr Watson and then there is a mysterious villain which we just caught a glimpse of which kinda feels like he would be Moriarty.

Now back to the review

Story: Well it is just the first episode so i am not really sure where the story is heading into. I feel that the main story revolves around the antiques brought into the shop. The mystery part is not yet seen but we still caught a glimpse of a person who supposedly is the villain. The story might also revolve around counterfeit antiques, which Holmes does not like as an appraiser. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Characters: Yagashira Kiyotaka(Holmes) kinda gives of the Sherlock Holmes feel with his accurate instincts and all. Yagashira like Holmes has a kind of dark side to him(no drugs though). Mashiro Aoi who works part time in the antique shop after certain events. She is a smart girl who catches up with stuff pretty quickly. I think there are quite a lot of them to come some might be there for just an episode and others might make recurring appearances.

Art-style: This anime looks modern and has the art-style and animation similar to Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine. There are some moments where the character are shown as chibi versions of themselves again that’s something i saw in Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine.

While we were able to see the Ability of Yagashira Kiyotaka, we didn’t really see any mysterious cases being brought in,well we’ll have to wait for the anime to progress a bit. For those who can’t wait, you can actually go and read the Novel by Mochizuki Mai, it is said that the anime is based off of the novels.

King’s Avatar Special Episode 1 review

Well the first thing I noticed while watching it was the changes in the animation. Mainly the facial animation and the actual face of our Main protagonist seems a bit different. The changes in animation are well not bad but they are not a step up from the last season.

The in-game action looks good. Overall the show looks good and a fan like me would love to watch the show progressing.

Well the changes in animation are probably because of the change in the studio.

I actually don’t remember our Main protagonist looking like that. Do you?

Well that’s my initial impression of King’s avatar Season 2.

UN-GO(Episode 1&2 review)

So i have been searching for some short crime, drama anime and came across this one.      lets read the synopsis:

In a dystopian future, detective Shinjuurou Yuuki—known by some as the “Defeated Detective”—solves mysteries throughout Tokyo. Aided by his odd associate Inga, Shinjuurou’s insight and ingenuity in cracking cases, particularly homicides, lead to numerous mysteries solved and culprits caught. However, his partner seems to have some other, more sinister intentions for the people they catch, and the truth of the assistant’s identity and motivation is shrouded in secrecy.

Well i have watched the first two episodes and found the plot and story lukewarm, the cases did not feel really tough. I don’t assume if an anime is good or not just by its few episode, so i went online and checked for some information about the anime and for my surprise the anime has an average rating of 7. Now 7 is not a really strong rating but enough for me to continue watching it. Right now i am watching this as a side-anime,so i wont be finishing it anytime soon. I went through some of the reviews and found people saying that, the show has a bad start but actually gets really good at the end.

The anime review will be up in a few days.
