Kokkoku:Moment by Moment (First Impression)

So i recently started with moment by moment and what actually caught my attention was this description

Having failed 19 job interviews in one day, Juri Yukawa’s dreams of moving out of her parents’ home are utterly dashed. Stuck living with her working mother Nobuko, NEET brother Tsubasa, laid-off father Takafumi, and single-parent sister Sanae, the only hope for this family to raise a decent adult is her little nephew Makoto. However, this struggling family’s life takes a turn for the worse when Makoto and Tsubasa are violently kidnapped by a mysterious organization and held for ransom. With only 30 minutes to deliver five million yen to the criminals, Juri’s grandfather reveals a dangerously powerful secret to her and Takafumi.

By offering blood to her grandfather’s mystical stone, the three enter the world of “Stasis,” a version of their world where time stops for everyone but the users. Having arrived at their destination, their rescue efforts go awry when they are assailed by a surprising group of people who are somehow able to move around within Stasis. While all hope seems lost, a monstrous giant known only as the Herald appears amidst the chaos, its intent and motivations as cryptic as the very nature of this timeless world.(Taken from myanimelist)

Well lets get to the impression.

Artstyle: Fairly normal and kinda fitting for the type of anime it seems to be.

Soundtracks: The OP and End soundtracks are actually really good but i don’t know for this type of anime(horror, psychological) it is not well suited, just my opinion though.

Characters: A main protagonist who is not in high school. That says a lot about this anime. The whole lot of characters that i saw are adults and are well good, but cannot comment on them more as i have just seen the first episode.

Pacing: It is a bit rushed. Like how fast the events of the description take place does not feel right, it is quite fast.( Probably because  they only had 12 episode to work with)

Kokkoku.jpg Well this anime feels like giving a shot.

I will be regularly posting about this anime as i progress through it.

FLCL: Progressive Ep:1

So i just now watched the very first episode and here are some initial thoughts.

Well I don’t remember the first season very clearly (i know the story but not the character names and stuff).

So, my initial thoughts were, the animation feels modern and as i started watching i first felt the craziness of the first episode of FLCL was kinda missing, but later on in the episode it caught up with the same sort of craziness. So you can expect the similar kind of humor from this season too.

Story wise flcl:progressive is a sequel to the events of first FLCL. I honestly at first found the story of FLCL a bit confusing to understand and there are some things that need to be explained more i hope this season explains that stuff.

The characters look really interesting, our main character is a high school girl who is bored of her uneventful life and now her life is gonna be full of events…..i hope……

Well these were my initial thoughts on FLCL: Progressive.

Hunter X Hunter(An overview)

If you are familiar with the anime world many people consider Dragon ball, Naruto and One Piece as the holy grail of Shounen anime/ manga many forget about a gem called Hunter x Hunter. This is an anime which is respected by it’s viewers and has been liked by everyone who has watched it. But a lot of time people hesitate to start a new series which is about 150 episode long. I am here to clear your hesitation about this wonderful anime that is Hunter x Hunter.

-What is the anime about?

Hunter x Hunter is set in a world where Hunters exist to perform all manner of dangerous tasks like capturing criminals and bravely searching for lost treasures in uncharted territories. Twelve-year-old Gon Freecss is determined to become the best Hunter possible in hopes of finding his father, who was a Hunter himself and had long ago abandoned his young son. However, Gon soon realizes the path to achieving his goals is far more challenging than he could have ever imagined.

Along the way to becoming an official Hunter, Gon befriends the lively doctor-in-training Leorio, vengeful Kurapika, and rebellious ex-assassin Killua. To attain their own goals and desires, together the four of them take the Hunter Exam, notorious for its low success rate and high probability of death. Throughout their journey, Gon and his friends embark on an adventure that puts them through many hardships and struggles. They will meet a plethora of monsters, creatures, and characters—all while learning what being a Hunter truly means.

-How is it different then other shounen?

-So Hunter x Hunter on surface looks really fun and colorful anime but it is something really really worse than that.(wont tell more because i don’t wanna spoil)

-What sets this apart?

– So a lot of times we expect something to happen in a certain way, but what if something exactly different happens? This is what Hunter x Hunter is all about, you can never anticipate things.

-what do i like in the anime?

The plot development is really good, the character development is on a complete different level. The most important are the villains in the anime, Hunter x Hunter is home to some of the most ruthless and gruesome villains i have ever seen. The arc’s in the anime are really good too.

This is the reason why everyone should at least once watch Hunter x Hunter.

Chi No Wadachi(latest progression review)

Spoilers Ahead…

My speculation of Seiichi’s mother being a psychopath were true, as i had said in my previous post.
Now chapter 20 shows us that the mother is not mentally stable and she has an emotional  outburst and all.

Now as for her son (Sei), she feels that he was always left alone (but i don’t think thats true). She is less of yandere but more of a dotting parent (to an extreme level), well the manga showed a little possibility of incest but if that happens then she might be a yandere.

There would be some major events taking place in the upcoming chapters.

My Favorite Manga!

We all have a manga that is dear to us, it does not matter if it is a popular manga or not, it does not even matter if other people think that it is a bad manga but we just love it.

Mine is: “Nana to Kaoru”

ea4a8586470312f068d5e925cdf2284e496a64af_hq

Synopsis(Normally i would copy it but i am gonna explain this myself):

Kaoru is a boy who has an S&M Fetish, he has always wanted to have an S&M relation with his neighbor “Nana”. Kaoru is a normal boy while Nana is a Popular Student, they were good friends as kids but now they have drifted apart. Kaoru is not that good at studying, so one day his mother takes away his S&M toys and gives it to Nana for safekeeping .(I don’t think the mother knows what the toys were). In the bag was a leather vest which Nana tries on and gets locked in(these s&m clothes apparently have locks), now Kaoru is the one who has the key. So one thing leads to another and then Nana realises that the S&M works as a method of relaxation for her(she is stressed out because of various reasons). The two of them then start getting involved in more S&M stuff.

Review:

First of all these is an ecchi manga. Secondly this is one good manga.                                        This Manga shows us that there is a different side of S&M. The manga is filled with emotions, it is comedic at some times and then it gets gloomy a bit.(not an emotional roller coaster though).

The art style is really good, it captures all the facial expressions perfectly.                              It also gives a lot of information about S&M, different types of knots and what other things are used and what kinds of accident would happen if not used correctly.

The author did lots of research.

Mangaka: Ryuta Amazume

The manga has around 150 chapters, it is worth reading.                                                              It is Ecchi but again it is an S&M manga so it would be weird if it was not.

P.s

It is better then 50 Shades of Grey

zankyou no terror (review)

So i watched this anime over the Christmas holidays, actually i completed it in just one day and i really liked it.

Synopsis-

Painted in red, the word “VON” is all that is left behind after a terrorist attack on a nuclear facility in Japan. The government is shattered by their inability to act, and the police are left frantically searching for ways to crack down the perpetrators. The public are clueless—until, six months later, a strange video makes its way onto the internet. In it, two teenage boys who identify themselves only as “Sphinx” directly challenge the police, threatening to cause destruction and mayhem across Tokyo. Unable to stop the mass panic quickly spreading through the city and desperate for any leads in their investigation, the police struggle to act effectively against these terrorists, with Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki caught in the middle of it all.

Zankyou no Terror tells the story of Nine and Twelve, the two boys behind the masked figures of Sphinx. They should not exist, yet they stand strong in a world of deception and secrets while they make the city fall around them, all in the hopes of burying their own tragic truth.

So first of all the anime is just 11 episodes long and might leave you wondering what exactly is going on around our world or in our society.

SOME SPOILERS BELOW:

.

.

.

So the two teenagers are actually test subject and are really intelligent. They want to cause the attacks just for revealing the secret experiments going on. That’s all i am gonna tell. The anime has really good moments, chase scenes and overall it is a good anime to watch.

Chi No Wadachi Manga review(A trail of Blood)

Chi No Wadachi is a work of the famous Mangaka/author Shuuzou Oshimi. The author is famous for his works like Aku No Hana,Boku wa Mari No Naka and Hyouryuu Net Cafe. I having read Boku wa Mari No Naka can say that his works are a bit different then normal manga. His stories are mostly psychological, drama and a bit dark. Chi No Wadachi also has the same atmosphere and theme as most of his works. It was first published in Feb 2017.

Plot:

So returning to Chi No Wadachi/ A trail of Blood, the plot is quite different…how different you ask? Well we all Know what a Yandere is, so taking the same concept and changing it with mother. So basically the manga is about a yandere mother who loves her son more than anything. Now let me be clear that the manga has only had 10-12 chapters released till now and the actual plot might be different but from what i have read till now that’s the only thing that i have understood. I am hoping that the plot is more deeper than this as other works of Shuuzou Oshimi are a lot deeper.

Art-style:

Art-style seems pretty normal but it has this different vibe, like you just know something is wrong with the manga kind of artstyle.

Characters:

Well we have the son who is kinda shy but a good kid overall, then we have the mother who is at a first impression like a normal mother….these are the only two most important characters….if any other show up i will update it….

So from what i have read so far, i actually want more of it. It has an appeal to the readers of psychological stories and to fans of Shuuzou Oshimi. FYI i am an psychological story fan. I would say that you guys should give it a try…

Grand Blue (The best Comedy Manga)

A new life begins for Kitahara Iori as he begins his college career near the ocean in Izu city, full of excitement for his new life. He will be moving into his Uncle’s diving store “Grand Blue.” There he finds the beautiful ocean, beautiful women, and men that love diving and alcohol. Will Iori be able to live his dream college life?

m003.jpg

This is the kind of manga that will make you actually laugh out loud. There is no exact plot to this manga, it is about the daily crazy life of Iori (mc) and his friends.

The art style is epic, it will make you roll on the floor laughing.

This manga is a must read…… and it is my favorite manga. It is number one on my top 10 list.

Look at the animation!

There are not that many anime that i know which are related to E-sports(probably none) and i was quite intrested in this anime as i had been reading the manga for a while and hoped for it to be turned into an anime.

Animation: 10/10

The animation quality is beautiful(the above pic is from the anime).

The first episode made quite the impact and made me hate some of the characters, well the villans were introduced pretty early in this one. I also feel that the world of E-sport like other sports is not an easy one( people thing just because sitting on chair and playing game seems easy, the E-sport world is not that easy)

I recommend it to people who want to watch different anime and to people who are interested in E-sports.

Overall: 9/10

Well i liked the manga and the anime is great. Thats all for the review…….
