UN-GO(my thoughts)

So a while back i wrote about the review of the first two episode, but now as i have watched all the 11 episodes i am writing a bit more detailed review.

First few episodes literally bored me, the mystery were to simple to solve and the cases were just to boring, but as the story progresses all the episodes and the certain mystery they had, they all start making sense(not 100% though).

It is tagged as a supernatural anime but the supernatural aspect of the anime is kept to a bare minimum. I think the anime is more psychological at the end. So it is actually worth watching till the end.

The op and Ed are good but not anything special, Voice acting is decent too.

Art-style is modern and normal nothing to weird or different.

Overall i’ll say it is worth the watch….

My 5 Favorite Full Metal Alchemist Characters

So i recently completed watching FMA:Brotherhood, i know it is really late but i finally finished watching it. Actually i flipped a coin one side being Monster and other FMA & the result was Monster so i watched it first and took a break from Anime overall and now i have returned to watch more masterpieces. I am not really fond of any new anime other then these slice of comedy and light hearted anime which are just 12 episode long. Actually if there is a new anime which is really worth watching do tell me.

I am not gonna review FMA because it is straight up good and has been reviewed over a thousand time and is sitting on top of the “all time best anime list” on  myanimelist.

This post might contain Spoilers.

5.  Greed (ling Yao)

Now i am gonna be honest here, the first greed that i saw acted like a asshole but even the first greed had a good side to him which i guess stays consistent. Out of all the homunculus he is the only nice guy(well he is bad but not as bad as others).                 The second greed(ling yao) just wanted friends, that is not a sign of a bad person.

4. Scar

I know scar tried to kill the brothers but he was filled with rage and wanted justice for his people. I just like him he is the villain who has turned into a good person(Cough*Saiyan prince*Cough).

3. Roy Mustang

He is a total badass uses fire and is a respectable commander. He also burned down a homunculus. He is just the character that everyone likes.

2. Envy(inner envy)

I hate him but, the actual envy who committed suicide actually left me a bit teary eyed. It was satisfying see him die but the way it happened was quite sad. That makes me think, he is the most saddest homunculus he was always envious of humans. I know he killed Hughes but there is something about him that just doesn’t let me forget him.

hqdefault

i actually like this Envy(true form)

1. King Bradley

He is my personal favorite. He wields two sword and is to strong even in his almost old age, he is not a homunculus technically, he is like mostly human with an special eye which is the only thing that suggests that he is a homunculus. Well he was trained for that purpose so he is on their side. That last fight was actually amazing.

Bradley-stoic

P.S.

I know this list does not have Edward and Alphonse i like them and all but these are the characters that i feel really stood out …

zankyou no terror (review)

So i watched this anime over the Christmas holidays, actually i completed it in just one day and i really liked it.

Synopsis-

Painted in red, the word “VON” is all that is left behind after a terrorist attack on a nuclear facility in Japan. The government is shattered by their inability to act, and the police are left frantically searching for ways to crack down the perpetrators. The public are clueless—until, six months later, a strange video makes its way onto the internet. In it, two teenage boys who identify themselves only as “Sphinx” directly challenge the police, threatening to cause destruction and mayhem across Tokyo. Unable to stop the mass panic quickly spreading through the city and desperate for any leads in their investigation, the police struggle to act effectively against these terrorists, with Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki caught in the middle of it all.

Zankyou no Terror tells the story of Nine and Twelve, the two boys behind the masked figures of Sphinx. They should not exist, yet they stand strong in a world of deception and secrets while they make the city fall around them, all in the hopes of burying their own tragic truth.

So first of all the anime is just 11 episodes long and might leave you wondering what exactly is going on around our world or in our society.

SOME SPOILERS BELOW:

.

.

.

So the two teenagers are actually test subject and are really intelligent. They want to cause the attacks just for revealing the secret experiments going on. That’s all i am gonna tell. The anime has really good moments, chase scenes and overall it is a good anime to watch.

“Monster” review(short)

“Monster” is one of the most brilliant anime that i have watched, it has an interesting story with very well developed characters and the atmosphere of the anime. I am trying to keep this review SPOILER FREE.

d27aac9287af3fec17a5638f35b4fbff

Plot:

Monster is a psychological thriller anime through and through. The story is set in Germany after the cold war. The main protagonist is an Japanese neurosurgeon(Dr.Tenma) who is extremely talented and a prodigy. His life is going smoothly until the point where he has to make the decision of saving a 10 year old boy or a mayor. He saves the boy and loses his post as he did not save the mayor(hospital politics). After 10 years have passed on a series of murders come to light and the suspect is the boy that Tenma saved……

Monster-2

Review:

Monster has a very slow start(there is a reason it has 74 episodes), it is like a puzzle which when completed gives an outstanding result. There are many characters in this series which at first look’s as if they are not involved with plot at all, but as the story progresses you would realize each characters importance to the main plot.

The atmosphere the anime is set in is quite dark and gloomy which actually is important as the plot it self is quite dark. The most important part of Monster is it’s storytelling, the way the events are mentioned is quite astonishing. The characters in the anime are well developed.

It is the type of anime that i would not recommend binging. It took me almost 10 days to complete the anime( i can watch at least 20 episode a day). I admired the show and actually researched on some point from the anime.

Verdict:

This anime is one of the best and very few match up with it, so it is a must watch.

I wrote this review just after watching the last episode of monster so it is short and misses a lot of points, i will write a longer review for this anime.

Look at the animation!

There are not that many anime that i know which are related to E-sports(probably none) and i was quite intrested in this anime as i had been reading the manga for a while and hoped for it to be turned into an anime.

Animation: 10/10

The animation quality is beautiful(the above pic is from the anime).

The first episode made quite the impact and made me hate some of the characters, well the villans were introduced pretty early in this one. I also feel that the world of E-sport like other sports is not an easy one( people thing just because sitting on chair and playing game seems easy, the E-sport world is not that easy)

I recommend it to people who want to watch different anime and to people who are interested in E-sports.

Overall: 9/10

Well i liked the manga and the anime is great. Thats all for the review…….

Welcome to the NHK! Full Impression and review.

So you thought that a life of a Neet or  hikikomori is trouble free and nice, well you will have a huge change of opinions after watching this anime!

Trailer:

(This trailer contains a tiny bit of spoilers)

The story and character in brief:

The anime starts of with  Tatsuhiro Satou (MC) sitting in his room in a dreamy state and believing  that his hikikomori state is because of a big conspiracy. He has been a NEET for 4 years now after he just stopped going to college because he thought that the his classmates were laughing at him and were making fun of him(they were actually not,it is just in his head).

Story (10/10)

This anime is unique, complex and bitter truth about the real world. The story is a bit slow paced and because being slow it actually explains the plot beautifully. The story is deep and really makes you question are you actually satisfied with your life? The anime touches sensitive areas like depression, emotional roller-coasters, suicidal thoughts etc. Not many anime have touched those areas so deeply. The start is pretty funny, but once you the story progresses it gets more mature and everything starts making sense. Now for the romantic factor, this anime has no lovey dovey romance like you would find in other anime, but has a  more of a realistic approach. This anime shows the reality of the world we are living in and to be honest it is not that good. My point is that the story is awesome and satisfying.

Soundtrack and music (9/10)

The music used in the anime is real good starting from the Opening and ending to all other soundtracks used during the dramatic scenes and such. Great song choice. The music is fitting to the events in the anime.

Character (10/10)

The Character development in the anime is on point. Each character has a purpose. Every character grows, fails, learns, and maximizes their potential as a solid character. There is no such thing as a “weak character” in this anime. It’s actually unbelievable how well written, well developed and well exposed every character is and how that justifies their existence. Not a single character feels extraneous or even annoying.

Art (10/10)

The artwork itself is not the best but it is the most fitting for an anime which has so many emotions and feels to it. Well the anime was aired in 2006( probably made in 2005) which is almost 11 years back.

Overall (10/10)

You just have to watch this anime it is brilliant, well you can take your time and i do not recommend binge watching it. That depends on the viewer, but it is a must watch anime and should be watched by anime fans and non anime fans too. I personally feel it is on the same level as Toradora, Lovely Complex, Kimi ni Todoke etc. but it is too underrated.
